DANIELSVILLE – William “Bill” Drake, 80, died Thursday, December 17, 2015, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Drake was born in Danielsville, the son of the late James S. and Ethel Beck Drake. He was a United States Air Force veteran and was retired from Sunbeam Bakery.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane Hardy Drake, Danielsville; son, Michael Drake (Angela), Danielsville; sister, Carolyn Mattox, Ila; brother, Kenneth Drake, Danielsville; and grandchildren, Tyler Drake and Amber Drake.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, December 19, at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Owensby officiating. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, December 18, from 5 to 8 p.m.
