HOSCHTON – Miss Johnnie Frances Baird, 90, entered into rest Thursday, December 17, 2015.
Miss Baird was born in Jackson County, the daughter of the late Jessie Elijah Baird and Pairalee Stansel Baird McNeal. She was retired from Carwood Manufacturing and was a member of Hoschton Baptist Church, where she played the piano and was a member of the Pallie Sunday School Class. Miss Baird was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Baird; nephew; Kenneth Baird; and niece, Patsy Banks.
Survivors include a sister, Annie Bailes, Hoschton; nieces, Nancy Martin and her husband Ron, Hoschton, and Janet Thompson and her husband Tony, Braselton; great-nieces, Emily Banks Schattler and her husband Dar, Erin Banks Rigglesford and her husband Mark, and Anna Thompson Allison and her husband Ben; great-nephews, Bradley Martin and his wife Susan, Ethan Banks and his wife Heather, Marty Baird and his wife Mary, and Cabot Thompson.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 19, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Ricky Thrasher officiating. Burial will be in the Hoschton City Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, prior to the funeral service.
