Danis Ray Marlowe, 74, died Sunday, May 1, 2016.
A native of Barrow County, Mr. Marlowe was the son of the late Roy James and Edna Ruth Blackstock Marlowe. Mr. Marlowe was preceded in death by a daughter, Monique Nicole Marlowe; and a sister, Celia Parks. He was a Navy Veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Maria Benitez Marlowe; daughter, Denise Marlowe; brother, Dewayne Marlowe; sister, Cathy Kennedy; and one grandchild.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
