DANIELSVILLE – Florine Graham Dove, 74, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at her residence.
Born in Comer, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Nellie Ruth McElroy Graham and was the widow of Loyd Thomas “Tom Bill” Dove. She was preceded in death by a sister, Brenda Meadows. Mrs. Dove was a custodian for the Franklin County Board of Education for over 28 years and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Survivors include children, Mary (Gary Hanley) Johnson and Barbara (April Artist) Dove, all of Danielsville, and Samuel (Lori) Dove, Lawrenceville; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Willie (David) Martin, Thomson, Shirley Holbrooks, Comer, and Darlene Holbrooks, Toccoa; brothers, Estee (Betty) Graham, Canon, and Roy (Ladonna) Graham, Toccoa; brother-in-law, Joe Meadows, Colbert; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Friday, January 17, from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Danielsville with the Rev. T. Gary Thompson and Dennis Duke officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethel M Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, January 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at other times at the home of Mary Johnson, 10416 Wildcat Bridge Rd. in Danielsville. Friends may view Mrs. Dove at the funeral home any time beginning Thursday after 2 p.m.
