HOMER – Brock Jean “BJ” Reed, II, age 50, of Homer, died Friday, January 17, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Reed was born in Buford, the son of Rosa Hardeman Reed of Homer and the late William C. Reed. He was a truck driver with Miller Transport.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Roseanna Baker Reed; sons, Dustin Jake Reed, Carnesville, Tommy Gillespie, Clarksville, Tenn., and Jason Houk, Portland, Tenn.; sisters, Wanda Roper, Oakwood, Debbie Banks and Rosemary Gicker, both of Homer, and Tammy Brand, Cleveland; brothers, William Mark Reed, St. Petersburg, Fla., and David Reed, Homer; and grandchildren, TJ Houk, Christopher Gillespie, and Jaelyn Houk.
Memorial services will be held Monday, January 20, at 11 a.m., at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Swayne Cochran officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of services.
