COMMERCE – Edith Anne McClure, 80, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, peacefully at her residence surrounded by family.
Ms. McClure was born in Longwood, N.C., the daughter of the late William Hemingway and Suzannah Robinson Bennett. She was retired from Dick Lynott Inc. Anne loved nature, animals, sports, gardening, her grandchildren, and family.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Dana and David Seay, Lawrenceville, Susan and Eddie Oliver, Commerce, and Gigi and Tony Murphy, Homer; sister, Mary Lou (Lucy) Mizzles, Tyler, Texas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at 6421 Bold Springs Rd., Commerce, GA 30530.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter or a charity of choice.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
