COMMERCE – Louis Frank Remion, 88, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014.
Mr. Remion was born in Savannah, the son of the late Louis Francis Remion Sr. and Addie Bostick Remion. He was retired from the CSX Railroad with 43 years of service. He was a member of the Apple Valley Baptist Church and was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving in World War II. Mr. Remion was preceded in death by a son, Gary Remion; and grandson, Danny Remion.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Shirley Remion, Commerce; sons, Steve Remion, Bogart, and Frankie Mason, Watkinsville; grandson, David Remion; and one great-grandson, Daniel Jacob Remion.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 22, at the graveside in the Apple Valley Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Clarence Cannon officiating.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, was in charge of arrangements.
