MCDONOUGH – Janie Lucy Souther, 95, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2014.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph Johnson and Martha Jane Bledsoe English. Mrs. Souther was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Chambliss Souther.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Joe (Cindy) Souther, Winder; brother, Eugene English, McDonough; sister, Irma Gooden, Griffin; grandchildren, Chris (Stefany) Souther, Karen (Ben) Brandstetter, and Dan (Torrie) Souther; and great-grandchildren, Kate Souther, Ryan Souther, Charlotte Souther, Adam Brandstetter, and Tyler Brandstetter.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 21, at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in McDonough.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is in charge of arrangements.
