NICHOLSON – Rome Jefferson Manus, III, 66 died Wednesday, April 16, 2014, at Georgia Regents Hospital.
Mr. Manus was born in Commerce, the son of the late Rome Jefferson Manus, Jr. and Dorothy Cordelia Edwards Manus. He was a retired painter. Mr. Manus was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Manus and Dean Stephens.
Survivors include children, Scott Manus, Carnesville, Daran Manus, Oakwood, Angela Manus, Cornelia, and Jennifer Wade, Baldwin; brother, Lamar Manus, Augusta; and sisters, Theresia Newman, Brooklet, and Martha Ann Baker, Maysville.
Graveside services will be at held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 19, at Jackson Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bill Manus officiating. The family will receive friends at the graveside from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
