JEFFERSON – Maida Johnson Forrester, 89, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014.
Mrs. Forrester retired from Southern Bell after 40 years with perfect attendance. She was born and raised in Canton, and was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Canton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Forrester.
Survivors include sisters, Mary Glenn Johnson Mitchell and Rachel Johnson Christy, both of Hoschton; and ten nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 9, at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bobby Morris will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at Cherokee Memorial Gardens in Canton.
