ALTO – Rev. Coy Gene Finch, 73, passed away Monday, June 2, 2014.
Rev. Finch was born August 26, 1940, in Wausau, Fla. He retired from BFI in Lawrenceville. He was a Baptist minister and a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Judy Caryle Finch; daughters, Wanda Lamb, Winder, and Deborah Croley, Luverne, Ala.; stepchildren, Brian Parker, Jefferson, Anthony Garner, Braselton, Tressey Parker, Winder, and Misty Pittman, Danielsville; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Bobby Register, Abbeville, Ala., Margie and George Owen, Dothan, Ala., and Fay and Lawrence Rogers, Abbeville, Ala.; brother and sister-in-law, James Earl and Linda Finch, Slocomb, Ala.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 5, in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with the Rev. John Talley officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 4, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.
