CLAYTON – David Warren Duck, 56, formerly of Braselton, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2014.
David was born in Gainesville, the son of the late Eugene Preston Duck and Berthaleen Parten Duck. David was a veteran of the United States Army serving during the Vietnam War. David was an equipment operator with the City of Jefferson for several years and was a member of Zion Baptist Church. David was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Duck; and nephew, Mark Duck.
Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Pam Duck, Hoschton; two nephews, Terrell Duck and Matt Duck; niece, Shane Cronic; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Allen Stevens officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson, is in charge of arrangements.
