LULA – Phillip James Ervin, 47, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at his residence.
Born in Commerce, he was the son of Ronald Ervin (Ruth) of Lula and the late Jo Ann Wilson Ervin.
Survivors in addition to his father and stepmother, include a daughter, Cindy Jo Ervin, Acworth; and a brother, Michael Aubry (Jan Vaughn) Ervin, Commerce.
Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 22, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home in Commerce with the Rev. Donald Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in the Minish Cemetery on Neese-Commerce Road. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, July 21, from 6 to 8 p.m.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Ivie Funeral Home; P.O. Box 728, Commerce, GA 30529, on behalf of services for Mr. Ervin.
