COMMERCE – Donald Lamar Carroll, 62 died Sunday, July 20, 2014. at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Carroll was born in Commerce, the son of the late Robert George and Minnie Lou Slater Carroll. He was a machine operator and was a member of Little Country Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce Whitlock Carroll, Commerce; sons, Doug, Bobby, and Joey Carroll, all of Commerce; brother, Steve Carroll, Jefferson; sister, Rachel Dickerson, Commerce; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 23, at 2 p.m., from Solid Rock Baptist Church with the Revs. Swayne Carlan and M.A. Poole officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday. July 22, from 6 to p.m.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
