SAN DIEGO, CALIF. – Dorothy Greene Kilgore, 82, died March 21, 2012 in San Diego, Calif.
She was born in 1930, the daughter of John and Gertrude Green of Auburn. Dorothy graduated from Winder-Barrow High School in 1946 and married Bill Kilgore in 1950. Bill was the son of J.M. and Beulah Kilgore of Winder.
Dorothy and Bill spent the first 20 years of their marriage stationed in various naval bases in the United States, where Bill was in the United States Navy and Dorothy worked for civil service. Dorothy and Bill retired in San Diego, Calif. in 1970, where they lived until Bill died in 1999.
Dorothy and Bill leave behind two daughters, Karol and Susan; two grandchildren, Emily and C.W.; and two great-grandchildren, Thomas and Savannah.
Dorothy and Bill are both interred at Glen Abbey Memorial Park in Bonita, Calif.
