JEFFERSON – Rosie Lee Griffin Martin, 77, entered into rest Friday, August 15, 2014.
She was born in Lexington, Tenn., the daughter of the late Kim and Dorothy Canup Griffin. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist denomination. Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Roy Martin; two daughters, Helen Martin and Paula Irvin; four brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include three daughters, Brenda Faulkner and Arlene Martin, Jefferson, and Wanda Jones, Statham; a son, Johnny Martin, Commerce; eight grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 18, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Segars officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park in Commerce. The following gentlemen will be honored as pallbearers, Alan Faulkner, Brian Ridling, Dustin Ridling, Scott Martin, Grant Henderson and Bill Brewer.
