COMMERCE – Brittany Rose Bossinger Hester, 22, and Lyndon Anthony Hester, 25, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014, both from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Brittany was born in Hershey, Pa., on February 8, 1992, and was the daughter of Nicholas Alexander Taraschi and Tammy Bivens Titus.
Lyndon was born in Snellville on June 13, 1989, and was the son of Steve Hester and Melissa Bell Hester.
Brittany was a 2010 graduate of Eastern Lebanon County School District and Lyndon was a 2009 graduate of Banks County High School. After graduating, Brittany and Lyndon both joined the United States Army, where they met and were married in February of 2011. They were both of the Christian denomination.
Survivors include their children, Justen Brantley Hester and Jaycee Rose Hester, both of Commerce.
Brittany’s survivors include her father and stepmother, Nicholas A. and Shelby Taraschi of Myerstown, Pa.; mother and stepfather, Tammy Bivens Titus and Derek Titus, Palmyra, Pa.; brothers, Ian Taraschi, Myerstown, Pa., Joshua Bivens and Dustin Bossinger, Palmyra, Pa.; a sister, Bayleigh Titus, Palmyra, Pa.; grandparents, Gary and Anna Gettler, Myerstown, Pa., Shirley Bivens, Grantville, Pa., Angelika Emter-Ginnetto, Palmyra, Pa., and Beth A. Titus, Harrisburg, Pa.
She was preceded in death by a grandparent, Michael Taraschi.
Lyndon’s survivors include his parents, Steven and Melissa Bell Hester, Baldwin; brothers, Ryan Duchaine (Danielle), Bethlehem, Stephen Alexander Hester, Kennesaw, and Sean Christian Hester, Baldwin; grandparents, James and Joann Bice Bell, Mt. Airy, as well as Bob and Kathleen North Hester, Lilburn.
Joint funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, in the chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Duane Eller and the Rev. Jim McLendon officiating. Full military honors will be provided by the Grant Reeves VFW Post #7720, the Habersham County American Legion Post #84, the Rabun County Disabled American Veterans Chapter #15, and the Georgia National Guard.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, at the funeral home.
