Rena Thompson Abernethy, 61, of Woodbridge, Va., died Friday, September 26, 2014.
Rena was born December 1, 1952, in Athens, the daughter of the late Durwood and Jackie Thompson. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great friend to many, loved ones stated.
Survivors include her husband, Louis L. Abernethy; two daughters, Elizabeth Blackmer and Robin Kiku (Igor); granddaughters, Nicole Lippy and Anatasia Kiku; and sister, Regina Boswell.
The family will have a celebration of her life at Hull Baptist Church Cemetery Saturday, November 8, at 4 p.m.
