HOSCHTON – Larry Orin Wilson, 67, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 11, 2014.
Mr. Wilson was born in Fort Payne, Ala., one of 13 siblings. He was the son of the late Charles Rayburn Wilson and Julia Vester Hill Wilson. Mr. Wilson was a well-known folk artist specializing in pottery and attended New Beginnings Pentecostal Outreach Church in Jefferson. Mr. Wilson was preceded in death by six siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Debbie Wilson, Hoschton; daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Russ Tanner, Dacula, and Stephanie and Devin Snapp, Braselton; four grandchildren, Laci Tanner, Joshua Tanner, Destiny Snapp, and Tristan Snapp; six other siblings; and a number of other relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 15, at 2 p.m., at New Beginnings Pentecostal Outreach Church, 267 Harold Phillips Road, Jefferson, with the Rev. Wayne Norris officiating. The family will receive friends at the church beginning Saturday at 1:30 pm. and again after the service.
