BALDWIN – Janice Monteen Morrison Yarber, 73, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2014.
Mrs. Yarber was born on October 12, 1941, in Banks County, the daughter of late James Richard and Monteen Duckett Morrison. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Yarber. Mrs. Yarber was a member of The Grove and was formerly employed with Chicopee Manufacturing for 19 years. After retirement, she was employed with Regency Thermographers for several years.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Robert Fordham, Homer; sisters, June Wright, Hollingsworth, and Joanna Wilbanks, Hollingsworth; brother, Jimmy Morrison, Hollingsworth; grandchildren, James Fordham and Samantha Fordham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel, with Pastor John Wood officiating. Interment will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 15, at the funeral home.
