CARNESVILLE – Michael Keith Pruitt, 51, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014, at his residence.
Born September 23, 1963, he was the son of Sue Bell Pruitt and the late Maxie Cleveland Pruitt. He was the father of the Casey Smith. He worked in commercial construction and was a member of the Compassion Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his son, Justin Pruitt; sister, Audrey Watkins, Carnesville; niece, Christy McKenzie, great-niece Madison; and great-nephew Tyler; and special friend Tammy Murray.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 15, at the B. D. Ginn Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Leon Carson and Danny O’Kelly. Burial was in the Franklin Memorial Gardens North with committal by the Revs. Jackie Kendrix and Devin O’Kelly.
Ginn Funeral Home, Carnesville, was in charge of arrangements.
