DANIELSVILLE – Janet Dean Crowe, 75, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015, at the Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.
Mrs. Crowe was born in Danielsville on June 19, 1939, the daughter of the late Zeb Neal and Aura Lee Crowe Dean. She was owner and operator of Zeb’s Barbeque in Danielsville, and also a member of the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. Mrs. Crowe was preceded in death by her husband, Carey Edward Crowe; and a son, Carey Dean Crowe.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Phil Osley, Danielsville; sons, Gary Neal Crowe, Danielsville, and Floyd Phillips, Danielsville; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sunday, January 4, at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Jeremy Duggins and Richard Huycke officiating. Zeb’s past and present employees served as honorary pallbearers.
