Fredric Kingsley Trumpower, 78, passed away Sunday, January18, 2015, at his residence in Danielsville.
He was born June 6, 1936, in Hagerstown, Md., the son of the late Edith Irene (Wagner) Trumpwer and Lloyd Kenneth Trumpower. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Kenneth Trumpower Jr.
Survivors include three children, Fredric Kingsley Trumpower II, April Lynn O’Dell, and Leslie Jeanne Trumpower Brown, all of California; four grandchildren, Mandi Lynn Carcamo, April Anne Boughton, Parker Lloyd Trumpower, California, and Cearra Lynn Correa, Washington; four great-grandchildren in California; and nephews, Steven Kenneth Trumpower, Florida, and Jefferson Michael Trumpower, Thailand.
Fred began his career as an engineer in the Aerospace Industry, for company’s such as Fairchild Aircraft, Thiokol Chemical, Rohr Industries and later in ground transit systems, which brought him to Georgia in the early 70’s. Here he designed and built a home on his original 23 acre lot, later acquiring more and becoming “The Lazy T Ranch.” He loved life and the outdoors and poured all his creative genius into and around his beautiful home, where his spirit will remain. In keeping with Fred’s wishes, there will not be a formal memorial service. The family would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and generosity extended during this time of grief. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the Pruitt Health Hospice for their loving care and attention to both Fred and the family during his illness and Mary who lovingly adopted his dog O’Reilly.
