COMMERCE – Rosemary Lynn Tyson, 61, formerly of Suwanee, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Lynn, and mother, Myree Lynn.
Survivors include her husband of 23 years, Lane Tyson, Commerce; sons, Nathan Lynn and Emily Rose Bartlett, Lilburn, Joshua Charles and Danielle Marie Bartlett, Bozeman, Mont., and Brian Jones, Orlando, Fla.; stepchildren, Jeremy Lanier and Mandy Tyson, Dallas, Ga., and Jamie Andrew and Joh Tyson, Strunk, Ky.; grandchildren, Roselynn Alise Bartlett, Bridger Tyson, and Arlo Tyson; sister, Diana and Jeff Rowlls, Lafayette, Ga.; brothers, Dr. Carl and Kathy Lynn, Sky Valley, Ga., and William and Kathryn Lynn, Locust Grove; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mrs. Tyson was born October 28, 1954, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. She was a homemaker and a member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church in Suwanee prior to moving to Commerce. “Everyone she came in contact with she touched and left a positive lasting impression which showed her love for her family and people!”
A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, August 14, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Rev. Rick Patchin officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
