DANIELSVILLE – Betty Adams Sexton, 70, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Sexton was born in Athens, on November 15, 1943, the daughter of the late Jim and Dossie Watson Adams. She was a retired insurance claims adjuster having worked for State Farm for 35 years. She was a member of Danielsville Evangelical Church serving faithfully in many capacities.
Survivors include her loving husband, Banister “Bant” Sexton, Danielsville; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Eric Fleming, Danielsville; grandson, Jacob Fleming, whom she adored and was so very proud of the young man he has become; and Jimmie Lawson, her four-legged baby who will miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 5, at Danielsville Evangelical Church with the Revs. Glenn Lyles, Tim Peek and Bill Frank Carey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at funeral home from 5 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4. The family is at the home.
