DANIELSVILLE – Paul Edward Pearson, age 66, of 1114 Hwy 98 W., Danielsville, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014, after an extended illness.
He was born in Clarke County, the son of the late Paul Dewey and Marguerite Lord Pearson, and was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Pearson. He was an insulator with Guarantee Insulation Company and was a United States Army veteran of Vietnam where he received two Purple Heart awards.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Perry Pearson of the home; five daughters, Melissa (Kevin) Terry, Mansfield, Tex., Pamela Hedrick, Ft. Worth, Tex., Jessica Pearson, Dallas Tex., Penney Bryum, Lavonia, and Marcie Cape, Hartwell; a son, Aaron Partain, Hartwell; three sisters, Delores Cochran, Nicholson, Patricia Medlin, Danielsville, and Peggy Bray, Jefferson; and 11 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Monday, June 30, at Ivie Funeral Home, Madison County Chapel prior to the memorial service at 11 a.m. with Valarie Booth officiating.
